Originally designed for use in our proprietary Tribute instruments, the Tribute Custom Pickups exceeded expectations during initial testing. Their remarkable tone and unique character convinced us to make them available to all musicians seeking top-tier sound quality.

Retro Vibe pickups are inspired by the classic tones of Fender-style single-coils. We tailored their specifications to achieve a clean and clear sound, perfect for rock 'n' roll, blues, and classic rock, while also suiting a variety of other genres.

The use of Heavy Formvar wire ensures a bright, harmonically rich tone with full and dynamic bass and clear yet non-aggressive highs. The Alnico 5 magnet version offers crystal-clear treble and a thick but tight low end, delivering the iconic tone of classic single-coils. Meanwhile, the Alnico 2 magnet version provides a slightly softer, more balanced tone with a bit less output compared to its Alnico 5 counterpart.

The middle pickup is reverse-wound and features reverse polarity to ensure hum-free performance in positions 2 and 4. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter, with enhanced midrange presence, making it well-suited for rock tones while providing a wider tonal palette.

Each pickup is wax-potted to prevent microphonics and ensure quiet, noise-free operation.
