TAILPIECES
The tailpiece defines how strings are anchored to the body, directly influencing the downward pressure on the bridge and the overall "slinkiness" of the setup. Our selection covers everything from standard stop-bars to vintage-style trapeze and string-through plates.

Common Types & Applications:
Stop-Bar Tailpieces: The standard companion for Tune-o-matic bridges. We offer them in Zinc, Brass, and Lightweight Aluminum versions. The material choice allows you to fine-tune the guitar’s resonance and sustain.
Trapeze Tailpieces: Designed for hollow-body and archtop guitars. These mount to the end-block, allowing the top to vibrate more freely while providing a classic vintage look.
String-Through Plates: A solid metal alternative to individual body ferrules. These plates provide a clean, unified anchor for strings routed through the body, commonly used in custom hardtail builds.
Technical Specs:
Metric vs. Imperial: We stock mounting studs in both M8 (Metric) for import guitars and 5/16-24 (US) for American-made instruments.
Post Spacing: Standard spacing is usually 82mm (3.25"), but always verify your center-to-center measurements for a drop-in fit.
Break Angle Setup: Adjusting the height of your stop-bar changes the string tension over the bridge. A higher tailpiece reduces the break angle for easier string bending, while a lower setting increases "snap" and attack.
