TE size
Specialized replacement pickups for the iconic T-style twang, snap, and growl.
The TE-style configuration is famous for its distinct separation between the warm, compressed neck position and the biting, high-output bridge. Our selection includes vintage-correct sets, noiseless stacks, and high-performance "rail" humbuckers, all designed to fit the specific mounting requirements of T-style bridge plates and pickguards.

Position-Specific Designs:
Bridge Pickups: Characterized by a larger baseplate (often made of copper-plated steel) and a wider coil. This design is responsible for the legendary "Tele Twang." We offer models with staggered or flat pole pieces to match your fretboard radius and string type.
Neck Pickups: Traditionally smaller and capped with a chrome or gold-plated cover. These provide a smooth, jazzy warmth. Our range includes classic "lipstick" style singles, as well as "open-top" versions for increased clarity and treble response.
Humbucking Options: For players requiring more power or silent operation, we stock stacked noiseless models and single-coil sized rail humbuckers. These allow you to push your amplifier into heavy saturation without the traditional 60-cycle hum.
Technical Features & Materials:
Baseplate Materials: Authentic bridge pickups often feature a steel baseplate that reflects the magnetic field back toward the strings, increasing output and "snap." We offer both vintage-style steel and modern fiber-bottom options.
Magnet Types:
Alnico II & III: Ideal for "Nashville" country styles, offering a softer attack and sweet, rounded highs.
Alnico V: The standard for rock and blues, providing a tighter low-end and more aggressive "bite."
Coil Tapping & Wiring: Many of our modern TE-bridge pickups feature a third lead wire for coil tapping (allowing for two different output levels) or 4-conductor wiring in rail models for series/parallel configurations.
Installation & Compatibility:
TE-style neck pickups can be mounted either directly to the body wood (vintage style) or suspended from the pickguard (modern style). Most of our sets include the necessary hardware for both mounting methods. If you are using a 4-way switch for the popular "series" wiring mod, ensure your neck pickup has a separate ground wire for the metal cover to avoid noise issues.
