Vintage-correct reproduction of the winner of the 1954 Telecaster ® lead pickup. The STL-1 has the exact same Alnico V pole pieces as the original winner of the 1954 model, which are higher for the D-and G-string. This results in a bright, biting twang sound. Compared with the STL-1b Vintage '54 has slightly less output with bitingly clear highs. Perfect for traditional country, country pop, chicken pickin ', rockabilly, blues and blues rock.
