When Jerry Donahue - the "Bendmaster of the Telecaster ®" - needed a guitar for tours, with the exact same sound as his valuable original 1952, he went to Seymour Duncan who replicated him this warm and powerful tone of Jerry's lead pickup accurately. Seymour used Alnico II magnets with special windings to increase sustain and power. Symmetrical staggering Polepieces reflect accurately against the fretboard radius, thus ensuring exceptional strings approach each other. This work has a sweet balanced sound, with detailed highs, powerful, punchy bass and of course lots of twang. Perfect for traditional country, country pop, blues and classic rock.
