Tribute Custom Pickups is a brand born out of a passion for exceptional sound and a love of music. Tribute Custom Pickups blend classic aesthetics with modern precision. Each pickup is meticulously crafted in Poland, using top-quality components to deliver outstanding sound and enhance the character of the instrument. Tribute Custom Pickups are the ideal choice if you want to unlock the full potential of your guitar.

Tribute Custom Pickups were initially designed for use in our proprietary Tribute instruments. However, after the first tests, we decided to include them in our product range due to their exceptional sound and unique character, allowing everyone to enjoy top-quality tone!

Dirty Blues pickups are classic single-coils with a touch of modernity in their sound. They produce a full, rounded tone with higher output, making them perfect for genres like blues, classic rock, and hard rock, but they also excel wherever a classic single-coil sound is needed.

For these pickups, we used Plain Enamel wire insulation, which guarantees a bright, clear sound that is slightly warmer than Heavy Formvar, while still maintaining excellent note separation even with heavier, saturated tones. This type of wire also emphasizes midrange tones and increases the pickup’s dynamics. The Alnico 5 version offers a slightly brighter and more powerful sound than the Alnico 2 version, which provides greater articulation sensitivity and a more balanced tone.

The middle pickup is reverse-wound and reverse-polarized to deliver hum-free sound in positions 2 and 4. Meanwhile, the bridge pickup is slightly hotter with a distinctly enhanced midrange, making it well-suited for rock tones and offering an even broader tonal palette.

Each pickup is wax-potted to protect against microphonics, ensuring quiet, hum-free operation.

All Tribute Custom Pickups are wound with top-quality wire from the American company MWS Wire Industries, which has supplied wire to luthiers and custom pickup makers since the 1970s. Precision and quality are guaranteed by Hathor Pickups’ workshop.
