The Apex Plus pickup set from Tonerider is built for players who want a hotter, more powerful Strat sound without sacrificing clarity. Perfect for Texas blues, rock, and modern styles, it delivers punchy mids, strong output, and singing sustain, while staying impressively quiet thanks to class-leading hum cancellation.
The advanced twin-coil design preserves natural string response and avoids the harsh, nasal character found in many noiseless pickups. From fat rhythm tones to cutting leads, the Apex Plus still nails the classic Strat “quack” in positions 2 and 4. It also works exceptionally well as a single pickup in HSS or HSH setups.
With a low-profile height, installation is easy in both vintage and modern Strat cavities, using standard Strat covers, including original Fender covers. Wax potted for feedback-free performance, the Apex Plus is a powerful, noise-free upgrade for players who want more drive from their Strat.
