The Stag Mag uses the same magnets as a vintage single coil, therefore each coil is on its own, as strong as a single coil. If this humbucker split so that only one coil is still in operation, the Stag Mag sounds like a vintage Strat ® pickup so bright and glassy. In humbucker mode, it sounds strong and full bodied, with a good splash of heights. Ideal for classic rock, jazz, blues, funk and country.
