Very sought after, they are the only strings to be perfectly adapted to the legendary SELMER-MACCAFERRI guitars, and to reproduce authentic gypsy jazz sounds. ARGENTINE strings are wound to ensure a perfectly homogeneous connection between the steel core and the silvery metal wire.
Besides their great resistance and their longevity, they offer a clear and bright sound, and also great power and very rich tones, perfectly adapted to gypsy jazz style of playing.
All these qualities have enabled them to go through crises and fashions, without ever having been matched. This authentic guitar sound, is also available for the mandolin, the mandola, the banjo or the violin.
