Product Description
Set of Alnico 2 rod magnets with a 4.75mm diameter for building ST-style single-coil pickups.
Alnico 2 magnets have been used in guitar pickups since the 1950s and are still in use today. They have a lower magnetic field strength compared to Alnico 5, and pickups with these magnets offer a warm and balanced tone. The weaker string pull increases the pickup’s dynamics and response to articulation.
Rod magnet with a subtle vintage-style bevel on one side.
North-up polarization, most commonly used in middle position pickups.
