GOTOH GUT Co. is the only Japanese manufacturer of stringed instrument parts, with roots dating back to 1960. Since then, it has been a leading producer of top-tier guitar hardware, valued by major guitar manufacturers and the most prominent luthiers. The SG510 series represents the most sophisticated machine heads on the market—a true gem in GOTOH's lineup. The 510 series incorporates all of the Japanese manufacturer's experience and patents: 1:18 or 1:21 gear ratios, Lubri-Plate, Rock-Solid, and Magnum Lock. The series traditionally offers several post options, ranging from standard and height-adjustable (H.A.P.) to locking versions, and the H.A.P.M. combination. Depending on the model, the mounting screw is located either directly below the tuner (90°) or at an angle (45°). A wide variety of button styles and finishes are available. In our opinion, these are the best tuners in the world and will satisfy the requirements of even the most demanding musicians.
