Our Hardware Sub-categories:
Control Plates: Primarily for Telecaster® and Jazz Bass® styles, these plates house your switches and potentiometers. Available in chrome, gold, black, and relic finishes, with standard or custom layouts (such as reversed Tele configurations).
Jack Plates: Essential for securing your output jack. We stock various geometries, including "football" plates, square plates for LP-style guitars, and recessed "cup" styles for ST-type instruments.
Neck Plates: The structural link between a bolt-on neck and the body. Our plates are available in standard 4-bolt patterns, including vintage-correct thicknesses and versions with "micro-tilt" holes or contoured heels for modern ergonomics.
Cavity Plates (Backplates): Protective covers for your tremolo springs and electronics cavities. These are available in various ply-materials (1-ply, 3-ply) and shielding options to help reduce electromagnetic interference.
Technical Fitment Tip:
When replacing a plate, always measure the distance between the mounting screw holes (center-to-center). While many parts follow "standard" specs, slight variations exist between US, Mexican, and Asian-made instruments. Choosing a plate with the correct hole alignment ensures a clean, "drop-in" installation without damaging your guitar's finish.
