Product Description

A pre-assembled pickguard makes guitar modification simple and hassle-free. All you need to do is connect this pickguard to the output jack and bridge ground. It’s a perfect choice for anyone looking to quickly and easily enhance or change their guitar’s tone.

The pickguard is shielded, fully assembled, and soldered with high-quality components, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance. The setup includes a push-pull potentiometer on the second tone knob, which activates the bridge pickup independently of the main selector switch position, providing two additional tonal options. Additionally, a "treble bleed" filter is installed to maintain clarity and tone when lowering the guitar’s volume.

Tribute Custom Pickups Dirty Blues are classic single-coil pickups with a modern twist. They deliver a full, rounded tone with higher output, making them ideal for blues, classic rock, and hard rock. They also excel wherever a classic single-coil tone is needed.

These pickups are wound using Plain Enamel wire, which produces a bright, transparent tone that is slightly warmer than Heavy Formvar. This construction ensures excellent note separation, even in highly saturated, distorted sounds. Moreover, this wire type emphasizes midrange frequencies and increases the pickup’s dynamic response. The Alnico 5 version offers a brighter and slightly more powerful tone, while the Alnico 2 version provides greater articulation sensitivity and a more balanced sound.

The middle pickup is reverse-wound and reverse-polarized to deliver hum-free operation in positions 2 and 4. The bridge pickup is slightly overwound with enhanced midrange, making it suitable for rock tones and providing an even wider tonal range. Every pickup is wax-potted to prevent microphonic feedback and ensure quiet, noise-free operation.
